How to Jump Start Another Car

Did your battery die? Everyone has been through it. You may be able to jump-start your battery using jumper cables. Most cars come with a jumper cable set, but they are easy enough to purchase online or at an auto parts store. However, you will likely need to update your battery even after you jump-start your car. In fact, your first stop should be our service department to get a new long-lasting, warranty-protected battery.

To jump-start a car, you’ll need a working car with a good battery to attach to your jumper cables and your dead battery. Before starting, both drivers need to make sure that their cars are parked and turned off to avoid any incidents. The process is fairly simple and involves hooking the jumper cables correctly to the positive and negative terminals on your battery. The red clips (+) connect to the positive terminals on each battery. The black clips (-) connect to the negative terminals.
